When it comes to the Martial Artists many would argue that the Shinobi (aka the Ninja) were the most well rounded fighters out there. Their training covered a vast array of tactics, from covert skills such as espionage and assassination to more open skills such as grappling and open filed fighting. Now, hundreds of years later, there are still Ninjas and one is about to get his world decimated.

Casey Bowman (played by Expendables 3 actor Scott Adkins) has an almost perfect life, married to a beautiful wife Namiko (Mika Hijii) who is pregnant with his child. One day his idyllic life is shattered when he finds his wife murdered, with barbed wire marks around her neck being the only clue. With nothing else left to live for he decides that Revenge is his only course of action.

His quest for revenge will see him travel from Osaka to Bangkok where a chance event will see Casey uncover a similar pattern of death to the one inflicted on Namiko. This sets up a chain of events that will see our hero fighting for both his life and the vengeance he so desperately seeks all the way to the jungles of Rangoon. He is up against staggering odds, but when you have the variety of talents it takes to become a master Ninja things can quickly sway into your favour. Has this master bitten off more than any man can chew?

With a previous film behind him, director Isaac Florentine already knows the talents of his lead actor and allows him to display them throughout the film. For a Martial Arts film this is now essential as the days of air punches are long gone. Prepare yourself for a display of Martial Art skills that will take your breath away.

The film was originally released in 2013 and is now is available to own on iTunes.
