Transformers; Robts in Disguise #21 was released by IDW on the 9th October 2013
Decepticons seem to be in a constant state of either vying for leadership, or looking for it.  Megatron is once again gone, and the various other former leaders are similarly unavailable.  Soundwave attempts to hold the group together, but finds soldiers that are tired of war.

Nostalgia and a yearning for better days are sentiments that run deep for both the Autobots and Decepticons.  Here, we're shown the early days of the war from Soundwave's prespective, and his ever-present distrust for Shockwave, and a pact they once shared.  The two go head-to-head once again, under Cybertron's surface, in the Crystal City.  But with Dreadwing in Shockwave's corner, does Soundwave stand a chance?

All of this is leading into Dark Cybertron, and the combined casts of the two main IDW Transformers series - Robots in Disguise and More Than Meets The Eye.
