Prequels, Sequels and all that Jazz have had a bit of a mixed reception of late. The concern of this episode is however what reception did the TE team give to the return of Deckard in Blade Runner 2049?

Alex and Mark are joined by our always welcome and special guest Jon (minus the jacket we all think he should buy) to cover all things Blade Runneresque.

As always for our reviews we begin with a non-spoiler intro but from there on in things will get delved into in depth.

On this episode we jump into our Movie Time Machine to the wild year of 1997 to take a look at a Luc Besson classic in The Fifth Element.

A film close to Alex's heart was a must dissect for us mostly just to see how he would defend this most odd of movies.Paul is along for the ride this week.

Between them they manage to look at not only the films of Luc Besson but throw some random tangents in as well as some rather spiffing anecdotes.

When it comes to directors few have the recognition and reputation of Steven Spielberg. Due to his vast back catalogue we have split this director focus into multiple parts.

This first episode is taking into account his early work up to and including 1989. So without further ado it's time for a reasonable debate on the films we feel are the best in Spielberg's early portfolio or failing that let battle commence.
