The final issue in this mini series sees our Monk trying to finish the zombie horde once and for all. He is bruised, battered with one eye swollen shut and still on he fights. This miniseries has been a breathtaking sequence from the start of the second issue right through to now. The first issue was almost a gentle introduction tot he craziness that would ensue. I have been drawn in for the entire ride and I am happy that I got through each comic and was also able to go back and reread them.

The art is presented in so many variations you may forget this is one man's work (with colours coming from Dave Stewart of course). I especially love the small panels crammed into the page to help give you the feeling of claustrophobia.

As people may know or at least you will know now I hate spoilers and I try to avoid them to the best of my ability in reviews. I'm not going to change my philosophy now but all I can say is
"Geoff Darrow wow just wow. You are a master I saw the ending but never dreamed you would go in a completely different direction".
This may sound a little egotistical but this is how you end a book. For all those people wondering how to finish a story you now have your very own Grays Anatomy on the parts needed to create a truly fulfilling mini series.

I do think this will be a must own as a trade. The fluidity of the action should be seen as a whole and its unfortunate that it was split. If you have not jumped on board yet then do not start here go back to issue one or else you will miss why this is an amazing story.
