#Recon; @EX1LEDFPS explains why the addition of the RCB to Hainan Resort shows true Levolution from @EA_DICE

7/2/2014

The RCB is a beast and in the hands of our host its even better.
Although the video is more about the gameplay the addition of the boat helps to show how DICE are listening and making positive changes to Rush maps.
The idea of Levolution is to change a map and the RCB certainly does this, admittedly this is not true Levolution in the way it was intended but I think this term means Evolution and as we all know this can in occur in a variety of forms. - (Paul)
Hey Battlefielders. So this is my 3rd attempt of uploading this, I think I got it this time! In this video, we will be talking about some integrated features that DICE has implemented on some rush maps.

So far I only know of the RCB Attack Boat being introduced to the Attackers on Rush to help making the first set of MCOMs easier. In this video I talk about the RCB, how it can be effective, how its not really overall effective throughout the map, and how to utilize it to the best of your ability. I go on an Epic 37 Killstreak before I have a pretty epic-determined death. Props.

Backwards Compatible introduces RECON, Focusing on Battlefield and the Battlefield community.

25/1/2014

Battlefield: Bad Company was the first time I had stepped into the EA DICE series, but I didn't get heavily involved until I started spending hours playing it’s sequel, Bad Company 2. By the time Battlefield 3 followed in 2011, I considered myself a “Battlefield player”. After being apart of the Alpha and Beta testing and enjoying the first 6 months of Battlefield 3, I found myself losing interest and I soon stopped playing all together. It wasn't until I started watching YouTube videos of other Battlefield players and commentators that I found myself wanting to return to the game. I was rusty, but I was able to use the tips and tricks that were shared between the YouTube community members to arm myself with enough knowledge for me to come back and still manage to hold my own.
I owe my return to Battlefield to the YouTubing Battlefield community and wouldn't be writing if it wasn't for my return to the series. I only started writing for Backwards Compatible after writing my own Battlefield centric blog. I want to thank Battlefield game and it’s community.

The Battlefield community is overwhelmingly awesome, but I feel the people helping to get people playing and keep players interested aren't recognised enough. This is the first post of what I hope to be many that will focus on the Battlefield community, it’s members, and some of the outstanding individuals that keep others and myself gaming.
Former marine and ex-competitive player, EX1LEDFPS took some time out of this day to share his story, talk about his thoughts on the game, on the Battlefield community and where he sees it going.
EX1LEDFPS is one of the gamers who's advice and real life inspired tactics and tips made me a better Battlefield player.

    What's going on Here?

RECON is where I hope to highlight the work of developers large and small, as well as the communities their games create.
