A figurine of the games main antagonist and series mainstay, the troublemaking Skull Kid, will be available from select retailers as part of a The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask bundle. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (which originally released in 2000 on the Nintendo 64) is often regarded by critics and fans of the series as high-water mark for the Zelda franchise.
With three days until armageddon, you play as Link, who is tasked with recovering Majora’s Mask. The mask is an ancient and powerful item stolen by Skull Kid, who has harnessed the masks’ power to send the moon on a crash course for the game world, Termina. The game has an ominous feeling which is highlighted by the presence of the moon growing larger as it enters the atmosphere above Termina. The games most unique aspect is the ability for the player to reset the world, and return to the first day, erasing the work they may have done on their previous playthrough. Luckily enough Link keeps any items or upgrades hes achieved, and using these unlocks to further each playthrough.
With the game expected to be released in the first half of 2015, we should see more information about the limited edition Skull Kid bundle closer to release.
