In all the wild speculation leading up to E3 it is nice to have some news about a game that is definitely coming. Mike Bithell, lead developer behind Robin Hood reimagining, Volume, has dropped another teaser video. In a style reminiscent of the Prometheus lead-up campaign, this shows a commercial for Gisborne Industries, an important company in the game's narrative. Good old Mike Bithell has cleansed our palates by releasing some more screenshots of stealth puzzler, Volume, in a week dominated by Titanfall news. As you can see from the pictures, the level design is now beginning to look more shiny and next-gen as he prepares the assets for a PS4 release. Textures are smoother, perspective blur is more noticeable and bloom and hologram-fuz is in much more evidence. Lighting and shading is dominated by more realistic effects, and coupled with the level editing system, it looks like it is shaping up to be a unique and interesting game on the PS4.
