Narco Terror is a quirky 2 stick shooter from Deep Silver and Rubicon Organization. The OTT arcade game is quite the entertainer. It’s a short, fast paced shooter with a hard ass cop on the path to dish out some Justice.
Rick Quinn is your regular one man army on the path of revenge, blowing everything up in his path (grenades are awesome) the game racks up points buy kills and breaking things as you move through a rather fluid though slightly grainy world battling wave after wave of violent criminals. |
Now this game is quite fun and does have a certain get on and go feel to it, which is enhanced if you play coop with your friend (split screen) and is a good night of fun if you’re not up for COD.
The controls are simple one stick for direction and the other for shooting so lots of spinning in circles is involved! You can upgrade your weapons varying in fire rate and spread this adds even more fun to the mayhem and chaos of mowing down the bad guys. Ammo is unlimited on all of your permanent guns, but like in dead ops the RPG, grenades and other pick up guns will be gone once the ammo is. So make sure you rack up a crowd of bad guys and mow em down. |
I am a big sound guy, I paid the money for my headset for a reason and it is always disappointing when it isn't used to its full potential and it can be slightly grainy on the ears i found. However that doesn't detract from the fact this game is £7.99 and it is an absolute blast (no pun intended) to play and I had a lot of fun doing it.

My rating? It’s a go buy, pick it up for a bit of lazy Sunday fun. Not to taxing but your a badass cop and you deal out justice in an expendables type bloodbath.
Wrap Up
The Good - Fun to play, Has co-op
The Bad - Sound can be grainy, Relatively short |
Score - 3.5/5 |
