To say I need a nap is a bit of an understatement. The barrage of sights and sounds (and occasional smells) was a deluge of information that now on the train in my way home I can try to sort through.
Firstly the site floor is filled with most of my hotly anticipated games for the coming year, but its a real shame that Destiny only managed to muster up a model to pose with and the E3 trailer.
The Big two in microsoft and Sony take up the majority of the real estate in the centre of the floor. It was refreshing to see the 360 and PS3 still getting a lot of attention hopefully both consoles will have a lively if not totally full future.
The Vita was somewhat on the periphery of the Sony main stand this year, this was obvious with the PS4 just around the corner but I felt it was not being shown to its full potential. Just a little tip if your going to be jumping on a Vita at the show bring some headphones as none are supplied at the show. Normal earplugs work brilliantly and it really will make the experience of games like Batman Origins Blackgate that much better.
The retro scene was really well represented as were the indie titles. I'll be highlighting some of my picks of these and the AAA titles a bit later but for now all that's left for me to do is nap until the train pulls in at tonbridge.
