Developed by DOS Studios (formerly Team DOS), the arcade rhythm game Size DOS Matter is an award winning, BAFTA nominated title, planned to be released on January 6th 2014.
The premises for the game is simple. It’s loud, fast and bright and your goal is to line up the musically timed gates with the block you control, changing size and shape to fit the gates for a higher score, with music from Savant, Cristian Voicu and Jonas Eide effecting the tempo and beat of the levels. Developed using the Unity Engine, the team are currently working towards a final version of the game shortly after the new year in time to submit it to the BAFTA judges. Currently in development for Android, DOS plan to extend to iOS and other formats in the future. |
Size DOS Matter is the brain child of Mattis Delerud who is joined by Lars Andersen, Silje Dahl, Trond Fasteraune and Nicholas La Rooy, with the first four members of the team meeting at the Norwegian Institute of Information Technology, with Nicholas joining later. Originally conceived as a infinite running rhythm title, the Super Hexagon and Tetris inspired game has evolved over time into the game we see today.

After being selected to represent the Nordic region and winning Dare to be Digital 2013 (as Team DOS) in Dundee, UK, DOS Studios came away with a BAFTA nomination (Ones to Watch) and the Channel 4 award, giving them a publisher, startup and marketing support. Since then, they have also been awarded the Mobile Game of the Year Awards at the 2013 Norwegian Game Awards.
