So maybe not a multiple page write up for you. But at least some good stuff actually happened this week! We finally get to see the leader of the league of Assassins. right in the final scene of the episode mind you but still. Some good confrontations between some of the characters and a good old fashioned murder mystery.

It would appear the trail of Sarah’s murder has gone very cold at this point. Blame is placed at pretty much most of the main characters. “he did it” “you did it” “she did it”, as you probably saw, this hasn't been resolved yet. What we get out of it though is a wicked action scene with Malcolm Merlin, Nyssa al Ghul and Oliver queen all shooting arrows at each other.

Come to think of it though, besides that scene and the one where Merlin reveals himself, there weren't any other action scenes this week either. But the pace of the episode was much better and there were a lot more character driven scenes to make up for it.
There was a little more Hong Kong stuff in there too in the way of flashbacks, naturally. Still not quite sure where it will lead too though. But there was an interesting reveal of what kind of person Amanda Waller really is. Remember that flight flying over the island in season two that almost got shot down? Judging by this scene I think she has something to do with it in some way. I’m sure we’ll see more of this in the coming episodes. More Suicide Squad related stuff is always good in my books!

So as I said earlier, there was quite possibly the biggest reveal the show has seen so far. Its been teased throughout season two a whole lot and its all lead to this moment. The reveal of Ra’s Al Ghul. Ra’s Al Ghul of course is the leader of the League Of Assassins in the DC universe incase your wondering. But most of you probably already knew that. Maybe. if not then spoiler.. The reveal itself was an awesome one. Whilst Nyssa is talking to him there are camera shots scattered slowly throughout the conversation revealing the Demon himself piece by piece. Almost like a puzzle you could say. The cloak, the rings, the sword, until finally the face. It worked perfectly.

Oliver Queen should probably watch his back from now on though. The scene at the end suggests we’ll be seeing a lot more of the league. That can only be a good thing. Its interesting to see how far they will go with the character of Ra’s Al Ghul. From my experience of seeing him in the Batman comics and games. I think Its safe to say he has a much darker side.

So far season three of Arrow has had a bit of everything. Good episodes (for the most part), good action scenes, Interesting story arcs. Now that the main villain for the rest of the season I presume has been revealed, the show can only get better from here.
