I couldn’t find one in the retail locations that I frequent and when I asked people about Ubisoft’s first person shooter, they mentioned a wait on shipping for some reason. This was in February, three months after the game was originally released in the UK. Before eventually finding the game sitting on the shelves of a supermarket, I almost caved in and purchase the digital copy of the title. In the retailers I was visiting I would see the current game pricing which ranged from £25 to £29 depending on the shop. On Sony’s Playstation Network the same title was priced at a crazy £59, asking buyers to pay through the nose for convenience.
Then Sony released the Playstation 4.
So before you venture into the dank of your local GAME or Tesco to scourer the shelves for your desired purchase, you might want to reconsider a digital copy. After all, you can scratch or loose a disc.
