As this is my first article for the site I thought I had better stick to the original format of the site and do a game review. The game that I consistently play at the moment is candy crush soda saga. I originally started playing candy crush when it first was available when i was bored on my travels it to work. It was a great game to play while sitting on the train and soon became quite addictive game to play due to the way the game is designed. The puzzles start off extremely easy as with a tutorial for each different section. It then can be quite competitive when you see on home screen what level your friends have reached in addition it shows your friends scores for each puzzle.
As a kid I loved games such as Tetris and connect four which to be honest is really all these games are designed around which makes it user friendly for us older people as well as easy for children to pick up. It is extremely well designed and is free to download as with most of king games they make their money by making you buy lives or different candies. Kings association with Facebook becomes extremely handy for me the majority of my friends will play these mobile app games and therefore will provide you with the additional lives you need to continue playing on your journey to work.
I originally having been requested on numerous occasions to play candy crush soda decided not to download the same as I did not want to get involved with another Facebook game however curiosity overtook me and I wanted to see what the difference was between candy crush and candy crush soda needless to say now i have downloaded candy crush soda i now very rarely play candy crush although it has been updated with the new style layouts and puzzles.
Candy crush saga soda has all of the fun of candy crush but for me I prefer the puzzles in soda with find the bears being my favourite. Although I don't like finding them in the honey.
There are differences between the games for example soda allows you to make different candies that you are only allowed to win or buy in candy crush. Soda also has your candies rising to the top which did take some getting used to.
I feel that this is mobile app is great for playing when you have a few moments rather than having to turn on a console and waiting for a game to load. It's much more appealing to me when my 5 month old falls asleep on me and i cannot reach anything else but my phone.
If I did not have this game link to my Facebook account and I had to pay for the extra lives it probably would not be as appealing to me however in the time it has taken me to write this I've already had four Facebook notifications either providing me with lives or friends requesting them.
